JASROOP (JAS) S. GREWAL, B.A. (Psych.), LL.B
Jasroop was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia where he attended high school and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Psychology) from the University of British Columbia. He then went on to the University of Saskatchewan to obtain his Bachelor of Laws Degree, graduating in 2008. After law school, Jasroop relocated to the Okanagan to complete his articling year with Pihl Law Corporation. Jasroop was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2009 and has trial experience at the Supreme and Provincial Court levels. As an associate with the firm, Jasroop has a varied civil litigation practice with a focus on personal injury law, family law and immigration law.
Jasroop’s volunteer background while in Vancouver and Saskatoon was primarily with the South Asian community. He is currently the Treasurer for the South Asian Family Association based out of Vancouver, and has previously served as President of the Punjabi Students Association at the University of Saskatchewan, as well as President of the Masala Club, a South Asian Students Association at the University of British Columbia. Jasroop is also currently involved with volunteering within Kelowna’s growing multicultural community.
